Light, rifined and newly renovated apartmento (55 m2) to rent at one of the inputs to the Old Town of Albenga. The apartemnt consists of a living room with a sofa bed , a kitchen, a double bedroom (with the possibility of a baby cot) and a bathroom.
The kitchen window has a view of the Old Town roofs while the living room windows frames the views of Albenga's central square ("Piazza del Popolo") and the main alley down to the sea and the seaside promenade.
The decor is tasty, elegant and has a nice mix of antique furniture and modern design. Our color selection is a mixture of blue and white to reflect the sea and the beach life.
This top floor has a fantastic view and is the only one building of the old town with an elevator.
The apartement is located by the Old City input: PORTA MARINA ("the door towards the sea").
The location is very comfortable and you have access to the most without having to use the car. In the vicinity you will find small supermarkets, a pharmacy that is open 24 hours a day, cafés, bars, typical Ligurian restaurants, pizzerias, ice bars...you name it. The apartement is easy to find from the highway and there are plenty of parking spaces in the vicinity. The location of the bus (Piazza del Popolo) and the train is excellent.
The middelage-walls of Albenga circles in over 2000 years of history. Within the city walls you will find historial monuments, architectural pearls, historic palaces, churches and the towers of Albenga while the old city alleys ("caruggi") merge into a mix of modern shops, culture and leisure.
On the city's many bars, cafés and restaurants you can eat the local dishes: focaccia (typical ligurian bread), buridda (fish), pesto (basil sauce for pasta), farinata (Ligurian speciality with chickpeas) and " verdure ripiene" (stuffed vegetables). For lunch you can eat pasta, risotto, meat or fish.If you want to you can just eat a simple sandwich ("panino"). At about 1830 there's aperitif time: a glass of wine , beer or a drink accompanied by some appetizers. Dinner-time is about 20.00.
